Az ETUI Education meghívja Önt, hogy vegyen részt az "Online angol a munkavállalók részvételéhez" online képzési tevékenység 5. kiadásán. A megállapodás 2022. szeptember 26. és december 04. között kerül átadásra, és körülbelül 24 órányi munkával fog járni. Az online oktatók támogatják a résztvevőket a képzés során. A tanulók eldöntik, hogy mikor követik a képzést.
A tanfolyamhoz az angol nyelv kezdeti középszintjére van szükség.

Különböző típusú tevékenységeket foglal magában, amelyekben a résztvevőknek részt kell venniük, többek között a következőket:
1. szövegek, hangfájlok és videók olvasása a szakszervezeti vonatkozású témák széles körében;
2. vetélkedők, amelyek tesztelik a résztvevők megértését a kulcsfontosságú szókincsről és nyelvtanról;
3. fórumok, ahol a résztvevők megoszthatják véleményüket és tapasztalataikat más tanulókkal;
4. beszéd- és írási feladatok, amelyekre a résztvevők személyes visszajelzést kapnak a tanfolyam oktatójától.
5. Élő webináriumok a kurzus oktatóival, megkönnyítve a résztvevőkön belüli beszélgetést és interakciót.

Invitation to an ETUI Education course

Dear Colleagues,
ETUI Education invites you to attend the 5th edition of the online training activity “Online English for Worker participation”. It will be delivered from 26 September to 04 December 2022 and it will involve about 24 hours of work. Online tutors will support participants during the training. Learners decide their preferred time to follow the training.
The course requires an initial intermediate level of English. It includes different types of activities that participants should take part in, including:
1. reading texts, audio files and videos on a wide range of trade union related topics;
2. quizzes which test participant’s understanding of key vocabulary and grammar;
3. forums where participants can share opinions and experiences with other learners;
4. speaking and writing assignments to which participants receive personal feedback from the course tutor.
5. Live webinars with the course tutors facilitating discussion and interaction within participants.

Aim and objectives
Having completed this course, participants will be able to communicate more effectively in English on the following topics:
• the work of trade unions and national confederations;
• differences in trade union representation throughout Europe;
• the work of trade union federations and the ETUC at European level;
• the current state of collective bargaining in Europe;
• the work, history, and state of European Works Councils;
• board room participation;
• SE companies;
• direct employee participation; and
• financial participation.
As well as focusing on key vocabulary, we also look at the following grammar topics:
• tense usage in the active and passive voice;
• various conditional forms;
• reported speech;
• comparative and superlative forms;
• describing trends, statistics and graphs;
• talking about numbers (big and small);
• the language of meetings; and
• diplomatic language.
Working languages
English.
Participants
Trade unionists from ETUC affiliated Organizations with an intermediate level of English. Before filling the enrolment form, interested participants are warmly recommended to take 15 minutes and assess online here their level.
How are enrolments processed?
A maximum of 100 participants can be accepted. The final confirmation of the participants will be done by ETUI bearing in mind the requirements for the target group. Selection of participants follows the criteria “first come, first served”.

Once the 100 available places are filled, registrations will be closed. Given the high numbers of requests, this can happen before the deadline.
Payment of registration
Participation is free of charge.
